Studio Manager and Instructor - 200RYT
Saven is the current manager of our studio. She moved here to Fernandina in January of 2022. New to teaching but not new to yoga, Saven has been practicing yoga for over 7 years. The bulk of her practice has been in Bikram sequence yoga (yes she likes it hot). Ever since she joined the Centred on Yoga community, though, she has fallen in love with the Baptiste style of vinyasa. She graduated from the YTT program here at Centred in December of 2022 and we are so honored to have her teaching now at the studio. Saven's favorite thing about yoga, is the sense of empowerment she feels when doing these asanas. She likes how she gets lost in her breath a movement, it melts away everything else. This is what she likes to inspire her classes to tap into as well. To experience the same love she feels when she is doing yoga. She is honored to have the privilege to teach and hopes to add to the yogi community here.

Caitlin discovered yoga in her early twenties; interested in yoga for the physical benefits hoping to lose weight and become more fit. As her body became stronger and healthier, she soon discovered that her yoga mat was a place to find a sense of contentment, self awareness and mind body connection. When Caitlin decided to enroll in the teacher training course at Centred on Yoga, she only hoped to deepen her own practice, however the more she learned and grew as a yogi, the more her intention turned to teaching and sharing the practice she loves with others.
As a teacher, Caitlin realizes that yoga is not a "one size fits all" practice, and that every person is on a different path. She tries to offer her students the opportunity to take that path in their own way at their own pace, to modify when needed, and to honor how they feel at all times. Caitlin finds immense joy, satisfaction, and inspiration in seeing students discover their own personal yoga journey and hopes to nurture and encourage them along their way.

Pauline has been practicing yoga regularly for close to ten years studying at several studios in Connecticut. To start, it was a balance to her road cycling and intense career. After using yoga to rehab several injuries, she fell in love with the complete healing therapy yoga provided to the body, yes, but her mind and soul as well. Looking to inspire her students, Pauline believes there is power in understanding it is called a “practice" and embracing the version of oneself that shows up to the mat. She loves the community of a class and supporting each other.
She completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Centred on Yoga in December 2022. The training inspired a thirst and path for continuing her yoga study. Pauline is studying to complete her 50 hour Yin Yoga certification. She looks to bring her passion for yoga to her classes and to encourage her students find their own raison d’être.
