Elizabeth McCranie is the Studio Owner and lead instructor of Centred on Yoga. The woman behind all the magic! She has been doing teacher training for 8 years now. She has a range of certifications that shaped her deep knowledge of yoga. She loves her craft so much she has found a new love of the practice by sharing it with others. Elizabeth leads with a strong yet gentle hand and hopes you will grow to feel the same passion for yoga as she does. For more information about Elizabeth's background and credentials please check out her bio HERE!
One section of our training will be devoted to learning the Anatomy of the human body to aid in our teaching training expertise. To guide us in this Anatomy lesson, we will have a guest instructor come in, Kimberly Carroll DPT, ATC, MTC, cert. DN. Kimberly has been working in outpatient orthopedics since 2009, and is a certified Manual Therapist, specializing in hands-on techniques of the spine and extremities. She is also qualified to treat pelvic floor dysfunction, involving incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.
Kimberly began helping Elizabeth with YTT anatomy workshops in 2017, and loves being able to connect the anatomy of the human body with traditional yoga postures. Making this connection has not only deepened her personal practice, but has allowed her to increase the use of yoga postures with her clients in her professional practice as well. For more info about Kimberly and her credentials, check out her website HERE!
Wednesday before each training weekend, an email will be sent out with information on what to bring, hours of the training day, and a general outline of the day's studies.

I did not do this training so that I could be a yoga teacher, but rather to delve deeper into myself and develop a practice. What I found was so much more. I found a community of vulnerable, kind, empowering, strong women and leaders at a time when I needed it, the month after my mom passed. I came out six months later more ME than I’ve seen in a very long time: less guarded, more confident and forgiving, better boundaries, present, and approaching the world with more wonder and less pain. I found my authentic voice again. If you’re considering a yoga teacher training (or even if you haven’t yet), this is where I recommend. 10/10. 5 starsKimberly S.
I took this training in 2020 and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’ve gained so much confidence and self love because of it. If you’ve thought about taking this training, commit to it now! You won’t regret it!!!Bones S.
This training is EXCELLENT. You will come out ready to teach yoga even if you didn’t know you wanted to teach 🤣 As I finish my second 200 hour program (7 days!) I am so very grateful for Centred on Yoga and Elizabeth Turner Mccranie for laying a such a strong foundation in me. You made me a teacher and I know now that I am capable of anything!Andrea H.
